The purpose of Gesvatec system is to establish a control for protected products to the entity control of the variety or product. The aim of Gesvatec system is to provide the control of the transactions made for every packer who works with the protected variety and Gesvatec will enable any fraudulent uses of protected varieties to be detected. Gesvatec identifies protected varieties/products with a unique label that has a two-dimensional code where it is codified the label's SSCC content.
